The interior looks way better than the XT6 even with the tacked on screen
2016 Concept, oh you coulda been great Telluride!
Aviator beats the crap out of all these though, I love how it looks!
So sophisticated

I think that it’s a great success for Kia that you even mention them in the same breath as Linclon

This is going to sound weird in the sea of gargantuan grilles... But the Aviator's grille looks too small. Maybe if it was lower? But it looks comically small like an angry face or doing the booboo lip.

Wait, what is this I am hearing?! Someone asking for a BIGGER grille? in 2019?!

I like that Telluride - I think Kia nailed it.

scrolling through the 2019 Production to the 2016 concept Telluride was seriously depressing.\

WOW THATS GOOD LOOKING.. and not real.
One major thing that the Lincoln got right, it has a level belt line ! it might even dip down a bit.

YUPP. JUST FLIP THOSE FREAKING HEADLIGHTS 90 DEGREES AND PUT 4 ICE CUBE LEDs INSIDE THEM KIA!

Ill be honest, if Kia keeps the price to Kia territory, that would be one hell of a competent competitor in the large SUV category.
And the Side profile definitely Caddy. The headlights though for some reason stick out to me as Yukon.

I think the real problem is that the headlights are too big.

Agree, what do you think it will cost?

That was not the intent , that was more for Cadillac, to say how “normal” the XT 6 looks as though it competes in the mainstream class, but it competes against the Lincoln technically . B ut the Kia’s interior and exterior is defini tel y more premium looking than its stablemate the Hyundai Palisade.

No info available now but I’d say starting base $40K.

They're big but they match the overall size. I think the grille is too high up. It's the blank space below it and too close to the hood line.

Out of mid-size SUV’s I’ll be closely watching used prices in a year or 5-7 for the Aviator and Explorer.

The Palisade looked pretty darned good too.

Hmmm too bu sy for my taste especially the front with those LED sabretooth fangs , this one is monolithic blocky and restrained.

That’s fair. It’s down to taste though. The execution was pretty good. I sat in it and felt like I was in a luxury interior.

I hate the Telluride name....I just cant stand it...

You gotta hand it to Ford, they finally made a desirable Lincoln. When was the last time...the LS?

Why? At least it’s not pretentious like Kia Vail or Kia Crested Butte .
There is/was Colorado, Yukon, Tahoe, Denali, Aspen etc named after mountainous/snowy regions in the US.

And that was a copy of the e39 with a Jaguar drivetrains....

Maybe this time it will sell better (than the Borrego)

Probably has the same Magna Dynamax system as the Sorento. It’ s the same one they used to take a sorento on Hells Gate . It’s a pretty good system and has an AWD “LOCK” function. However it’ s not a true lock since there is a 737 lb-ft capacity on the coupling, meaning that in first gear at full power, less than half of the maximum torque could possibly be sent to the rear. Which jibes with the “sport mode” bias of 65-35. (MATH - 16:1 first gear crawl x 262 lbs-ft = 4182 lbs-ft. Divide by 2 because the pto will overdrive the rear shaft ~2:1 = 2091 lbs-ft max).
Actually, now that I look at it...it’ s kind of a crappy AWD system, unless they upped the coupling torque limit. Best I can work out is that under no circumstances can more than, say, 35% of torque get to the rear axle in 1st gear.

Honestly? I dont really know, I just find ‘Telluride’ to sound weird. Like, ‘tell your ride’....tell your ride what? Telluride...pfff....
(I’m probably mi spronouncing it completely).
